It all began with an exciting idea and we hope you’ll donate because you believe in us or because you see and share our enthusiasm for being a part of making new creative experiences that are hand-crafted by impassioned developers pouring their combined backgrounds into an inspired project! $70 can buy a great AAA game, but just $20 has a big impact on an independent studio like ours. We understand that most people who visit this page will be happy to wait and purchase one our finished games and that’s okay too, but if you’re as excited as we are, then this is an opportunity to donate to our efforts at Studio Dhjamb today!
All transactions are handled by Squarespace Payments, wholly owned by our web provider, Squarespace, and trusted by Dhjamb, LLC.
Dhjamb, LLC is charged 3% (3.2 for AmEx) + $0.30 for all donations here (compared with Patreon’s 8%). You will receive a receipt for your donation but Studio Dhjamb is not a tax-exempt organization and donations are not individually tax-deductible.
What will your donation support?
At our humble beginning, all donated money is used to cover the recurring costs of staying in business while we work hard on our first project: the less-exciting expenses of legal, accounting, and online fees (this website). Any donation money received in surplus will go toward presenting and promoting Project Purple at industry events and anywhere that will directly support the success of our first game, which we hope to have ready for early access next year!
In the meantime, we are well on our way to creating our first game, Project Purple (working title). It’s a roguelike deckbuilder inspired by games like Balatro, but in our game, you will carefully play cards for your opponent as well as yourself! The game is based on a playable, physical prototype and we’re thrilled to see how the video game will iterate on it. Stay tuned for a lot more detail as we launch and modify our product page, and follow us on Bluesky with the butterfly link below for every update! Project Purple is just the first installment from Studio Dhjamb but with your support it will be the first of many.
